The Mente Marine ACS RP (Roll and Pitch) is a fully automatic trim tab control that ensures perfect trim for your boat. It automatically adjusts the trim angle during course and wind changes, as well as when passengers change seating positions, allowing you to focus entirely on driving.

Optimal trim for modern sport boats
Modern sport boats with deep-V hulls are specifically designed for a smooth ride in rough water. The use of trim tabs is essential to ensure stability and straight-line tracking. The ACS RP trim tab control ensures that your boat always maintains the optimal trim angle—regardless of wind, course, or passenger seating positions. Automatic adjustment reduces distractions and thus increases safety, especially at high speeds.

Automatic adjustment for longitudinal and lateral axes
The Mente Marine ACS RP provides precise trim adjustment on the longitudinal and lateral axes. On the longitudinal axis, the boat is automatically set to the optimal trim angle to prevent rocking. Especially with semi-displacement boats, where the bow remains high at high speeds, lateral axis trimming provides better visibility and improved acceleration. These features make the system ideal for larger boats and demanding driving conditions.

Turn detection and adaptive control
An integrated gyroscope detects turning maneuvers and prevents unnecessary trim angle corrections while turning. As soon as the boat returns to a straight course, the system adjusts the trim angle based on current conditions. This ensures a stable ride and prevents excessive trim tab movement.

The adaptive system automatically adjusts to different boat sizes, trim tab types, and sea conditions. In calm water, the system responds more quickly, while in rough water, unnecessary trim tab movements are avoided. The result is a consistently efficient and comfortable ride.

Displacement mode and automatic correction
In displacement mode, i.e., at speeds below planing speed, the system disables the trim tabs. The Mente Marine ACS RP detects this condition and stops making unnecessary corrections. As soon as the boat enters planing mode, the trim angle is automatically adjusted before the boat gets "on top of the water" to ensure an efficient ride.

Automatic and manual modes
The automatic mode ensures that the boat's trim angle is automatically adjusted at all times. The manual mode gives the user full control to adjust the trim tabs according to their preferences, especially in rough seas, to trim the bow lower and make the ride more comfortable.
