Noise and vibrations are minimized by the sealed, thermally linked engine cover, the end muffler, which uses an acoustic filter to reduce high-frequency exhaust noise, a new, smooth-operating clutch design, and Mercury's exclusive Focused Mount System.

No tools are required to replace the fuel filter, and it can be done in less than a minute. And thanks to Mercury's maintenance-free valve, you do not need to perform costly valve adjustments.

Fuel Efficient
By combining less weight with a large displacement, these four-stroke outboard motors offer maximum fuel efficiency, especially at cruising speed. Special oil deflectors and bearings minimize friction on the crankshaft, which also helps reduce fuel consumption.
