Mercury has revised the current 209cc carburetor platform with 8 and 9.9 hp to incorporate an EFI fuel system, a larger alternator, a newly designed engine cover, and other refinements.

Before delivery, we subject every outboard motor leaving our house to a pre-delivery inspection (PDI), which is also mandatory by the manufacturers for possible warranty claims. This PDI is of course free of charge for the end customer! The PDI includes a full functional check in one of our test tanks in all operating conditions. Thus, you can be sure that you receive a fully functional engine. The shipment takes place in the original protective packaging, whereby the engine is transported "dry" and cleaned, i.e., fuels and engine oil are removed from the engine. We of course include a sufficient amount of new engine oil for refilling with every engine. You can find filling instructions in the user manual, which is included in the delivery.
