The Quicksilver 881284Q NGK LFR6A‑11 V‑Power spark plug is a high-quality replacement part for numerous Mercury and Mariner outboard engines. It comes with a factory-preset electrode gap, as specified by the engine manufacturer. However, the gap should be briefly checked before installation to ensure optimal performance.

The NGK V‑Power series is characterized by a distinctive “V” cut in the center electrode. This directs the spark to the electrode tip, ensuring improved ignition, more stable combustion, better starting performance, and reduced fuel consumption.
